The three stages of evolution for the mascot of the Pokemon franchise: Pichu, Pikachu and Raichu!
• Pichu is a small, mouse-like, electric-type Pokémon. Pichu is known for being playful and mischievous, and can walk on its hind legs. It has pink cheek pouches that store small amounts of electricity, but it’s not good at storing it and discharges it when excited or agitated. Pichu evolves into Pikachu, who then evolves into Raichu. Pichu can evolve into Pikachu by leveling it up with max Friendship, and Pikachu can evolve into Raichu when exposed to a Thunder Stone.
• Pikachu is a fictional, mouse-like Pokémon with electrical abilities and the mascot of the Pokémon franchise. Pikachu stores electricity in pouches in its red cheeks, and can discharge that energy when it’s angry. Pikachu is usually friendly and enjoys being cuddled, but can become aggressive if threatened or angered. It excels at attacking opponents from a distance with electricity, which can sometimes paralyze them. Pikachu’s name comes from the Japanese words “pikapika” (the sound of electricity) and “chuchu” (the sound a mouse makes). It evolves from Pichu and into Raichu.
• Raichu is a large, bipedal, rodent-like Pokémon. It has yellow sacs on its cheeks that can generate up to 100,000 volts of electricity, which it can use to electrocute opponents. Raichu can also use its tail to grab and restrain opponents, or to hold and carry things. Raichu is the final evolved form of Pichu and evolves from Pikachu when Pikachu uses a Thunder Stone.
