Pokemon: Generation I Starter Pokemon Figure

Generation I featured three starter Pokemon as well as Pikachu!

• Pikachu is a fictional, mouse-like Pokémon with electrical abilities and the mascot of the Pokémon franchise. Pikachu’s cheeks are red circles that contain pouches for storing electricity. When angered, Pikachu releases the energy stored in its cheeks. Pikachu is usually friendly and enjoys being cuddled, but can be aggressive when threatened or angered.

• Charmander is a fire-type, bipedal, reptilian Pokémon. A fire burns at the tip of its tail, which makes a sound as it burns. The flame on Charmander’s tail shows the strength of its life-force, so a healthy Charmander’s flame will burn vigorously, even if it gets wet. A weak Charmander’s flame will also burn weakly.

• Squirtle is a fictional, light blue, water-type Pokémon. It has a tough, aerodynamic shell that protects it from physical attacks and helps it swim quickly. Squirtle is rare in the wild, but can sometimes be found around freshwater lakes, ponds, and slow-flowing rivers. A few isolated populations can also be found on islands in the ocean, but these are rare. Squirtle are often found in groups, which are officially called “bales” but are more commonly known as “squads”.

• Bulbasaur is a small, quadrupedal, amphibian Pokémon. It has a green plant bulb on its back that grows from a seed planted there at birth. The bulb absorbs sunlight and provides energy through photosynthesis, as well as from the nutrient-rich seeds inside. Bulbasaur uses the nutrients in the seed to grow for some time after birth. The bulb also conceals two slender, tentacle-like vines that Bulbasaur can use to grab tree branches and pull itself up to reach berries. Bulbasaur’s bulb will flash blue when it is ready to evolve into Ivysaur and then Venusaur. It can survive for days without eating and is known to sleep in sunny spots. Bulbasaur is found in grasslands and forests throughout the Kanto region, but is hard to come by in the wild because it is a first partner Pokémon.
