Pokemon: Gastly Evolution Figure

The three stages of evolution for the Generation I Ghost type Pokemon: Gastly, Haunter and Gengar!

• Gastly is a gas-like Pokémon that has a large mouth with small fangs and big white eyes. It’s said to appear in deserted buildings and has no real shape. When exposed to strong winds, its gas body will quickly dissipate, so it often clusters under houses to avoid the wind.Gastly is one of the lightest Pokémon because of its gaseous form. It has a playful personality and enjoys startling people for fun, but it’s not malicious and doesn’t “haunt” people to harm them. It rarely uses its poisonous gases unless threatened, but it can put victims to sleep with Hypnosis. It can also immobilize prey with the move Lick. Gastly evolves into Haunter at level 25, and Haunter evolves into Gengar via trade.

• Haunter is a Ghost/Poison type Pokémon. Haunter is described as a malevolent spirit that can glide through walls and appear wherever it likes. It is afraid of light and hides in dark places like caves. When a human or Pokémon approaches, it will stalk the victim, beckon it to come closer, and then lick it with its gaseous tongue. This causes convulsions that last until the victim dies. Haunter evolves from Gastly and into Gengar.

• Gengar is a Ghost/Poison-type Pokémon. Gengar is mean-spirited and enjoys tormenting people, and is most active during full moons. It hides in people’s shadows at night, absorbing their heat and causing them to shake. Gengar can also levitate and enter sleeping homes to lurk in the dark. Gengar evolves from Haunter, which evolves from Gastly.
